The Witches Den - Beyond Extent Team Challenge

I'm excited to showcase our submission for Beyond Extent's Team Challenge, The Witches Den!
Over the past 5 weeks I worked together with 4 other teammates to create this environment from scratch.

We photobashed different elements together, and landed on the current concept. Our mentor also provided a paintover for the environment, which was really helpful and helped us add elements like the vines around the house.

My main tasks with this environment was creating the tileable texture on the mushroom house, the cauldron, smaller mushrooms, tea set, potion bottles and the wood on the porch and the beams of the garage next to it. During the challenge, I also partook in creating one of the blockout variations, working on the lighting, having input about the composition and the values of the level. I also took part in giving feedback, which was also something quite new and challenging for me, but a really nice experience!

Shoutout to my amazing teammates, they taught me new things during this challenge and really inspired me to deep dive more into Unreal engine. Working together was an amazing experience and maybe someday we will have the chance again! Thanks to everyones effort, we landed first place in the Stylized Environment Catagory!
