My name is Liliane Bruijn, but everyone calls me Lili! I´m a Game Art graduate from the HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht) in the Netherlands. My main focus are stylized 3D environments and props, because I really love to build environments and being able to walk through them. I also really like to make props, because I love the modeling and texturing phase as well. I also enjoy sculpting a lot and using the high-poly details for my textures and bringing the models to life during the texturing phase. The reason why I want to become an environment artist is that I grew up with films and games with breathtaking environments, which I fell in love with as a child. I really want to learn to build environments that have the same effect on people who will play the games I will work on in the future!
My goals are to learn more about environment building, learning to optimize assets, lighting and learn about trimsheets and modularity. To achieve those goals, I will invest time into research, following mentorships and practicing, in order to achieve the skills I desire to have someday.
